About Dr Pamela Markham
PAMELA MARKHAM, PSY.D.
Dr. Pamela Markham views psychotherapy as a proactive tool used by an individual to make their life more fulfilling and productive.
Therapy should not be viewed as an indication of mental illness, but rather, mental health.
Therapy is a way for a person to gain more understanding about themselves and how they can make positive changes in their life.
Some of the issues that therapy addresses are: Life Transitions, Health Concerns, Loss and Bereavement, Interpersonal Conflict, Professional and Academic issues.
Dr. Markham earned her doctorate in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy from the California School of Professional Psychology, San Francisco.
Her graduate training includes internships at New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center,
White Plains NY, New York Medical Center/Bellevue Hospital, NY and Kirby Forensic Psychiatric Center, NY.
Prior to her relocation to Florida in 2006, Dr. Markham was in private practice in Connecticut.
